 | | About Us | | Re-established in 2001 the Townsville Brewing company is brewing beer with the same passion and commitment to quality that ensured success in the late 1800’s. In 2001 the Post Office posted it’s last letter and made way for one of Australia’s premier boutique breweries. The entire building is home to a state of the art micro-brewery, a 200 seater restaurant, sports bar, nightclub and Townsvilles largest privately owned commercial kitchen. | | | Our Beers | | The tropical climate of North Queensland has always been associated with cold thirst quenching beer. At the Townsville Brewing Co. we wanted to go a step further. Not only do we want to brew fine, satisfying lagers, but we also want to expose our customers to the large range of beer styles that exist throughout the world. Our beers are brewed to cater for a wide and varied palate, from the light easy drinking lagers to the challenging and flavoursome ales and stouts. We spare no expense in sourcing our raw materials for our beers, some of our premium hops are imported from Germany, the Czech Republic and England. Our yeasts are sourced from the US and are propagated in house before fermentation. Australian malt provides the myriad of sugars and colours that contribute to the flavour and colour of our beers. |
| | B Catered | | B Catered is one of the largest catering companies in North Queensland. We are affiliated with a number of the regions most successful venues including The Brewery, Naked Fish and C Bar. B Catered is the exclusive caterer to the Museum of Tropical Queensland and the Townsville Turf Club and caters for a number of Government Agencies and National Corporations. Our catering team includes many Award Winning Chefs and Bar Staff and we have also won a number of local and state Restaurant and Catering awards including the 2003 Best Event Caterer. We cater for functions and events ranging from 10 persons to 10,000 persons with menu styles to suit any budget. We are also highly flexible in terms of venue theming, menu styles and function location. So when you are planning your next function or event, large or small, call us and we will be only to happy to meet with you and discuss your requirements. |
| | B Sports | | Our focus was to create a room dedicated to the sporting enthusiast. Townsville’s only dedicated sports bar, featuring 17 television monitors as well as a big screen television, memorabilia includes much local talent as it does international flair. The sports bar trades 7 days a week showing as much sport as possible with support from, espn, fox channel, fox footy and free to air showing NRL, AFL, Super 12’s, premier league soccer, baseball and motor sports .. if it’s on in the world you’ll see it in B sports. | | The Brewery Nightclub | | "The Brewery nightclub is situated on the first floor above the Townsville Brewery. Resident DJ Andee-J along with regular guests provide the perfect mix from current dance & progressive house to beats “n” breaks with an emphasis placed on old school mixing in it’s purest form.
The brewery nightclub promotes a lounge bar style ambiance that transforms to a thumping club atmosphere into the late hours featuring state of the art lighting and sound including a hybrid Martin & Bose audio system.
Opening hours are from 9pm till late every Friday & Saturday night with drink specials & promotions every week. No cover charge except during special events." |
